Salinas Lagoon and Water Mirrors

Itinerary

06:15am - 06:45am - We start the pick up from the hotels in the center of the city.

06:45am - We start our tour to the Salinas Lake making different stops.

07:30am - Our first visit will be to the Mirador de los Volcanes in the district of Chiguata; which we will reach in an average of 45 minutes; from there we will be able to observe our representative volcanoes and take pictures. Later we will be arriving to the town of Chiguata and we will visit the main square of Chiguata where we will find the traditional church of Espiritu Santo and later we will taste a traditional breakfast of the zone.

Then we will continue our way and in a journey of 01 hour approx. we will make a stop at the Alto Simbral (4200 m.a.s.l.) where we can observe plants in the area as the Queñua, Yareta, Tola, etc. Continuing our tour we will arrive at the Salinas Lake where we will stay between 01 hour to 01 hour and 30 minutes making different stops for the observation of flamingos, parihuanas, water mirrors (from January to March), sighting of vicuñas, llamas and alpacas (all year). In dry season (April to December) we will visit the salt extraction centers where imagination is essential to take spectacular pictures. Afterwards we will head towards the Lojen Minivolcano and Lojen Hot Springs to enjoy a relaxing bath.

04:00pm - Arrival to the city and we will drop you off near the Plaza de Armas.
