Itinerary

DAY 01: Arrival Transfer

We will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Cusco.

CITY TOUR

We will start this City Tour with a visit to the main temple "The Cathedral" which has a large number of paintings of the Cusco School. Then, we will visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, it was one of the most important temples that worshiped the highest Inca god Inti or Sun, not only the Sun was worshiped but also other minor deities such as the Moon and Venus.

We boarded our transport to go to Sacsayhuaman is one of the most amazing examples of architecture, it is thought that it began to be built during the rule of Pachacutec, it is presumed that it was a fortress, although studies of the culture of the Incas believe that it could have been a ceremonial place, however it has the nomination of fortress since the conquest.

We continue with our excursion and arrive Tambomachay also known as the Baths of the Inca is one of the most important constructions that worships the Water, the last point of visit is Puca Pucara houses enclosures such as interior squares, canals and aqueducts and a well known road as Qhapaq Ñan.

We finish our visit and return to the hotel.

DAY 02: SACRED VALLEY

We will pick you up from your hotel and head towards the fertile Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will appreciate the beauty of the landscape until we arrive to Pisac, we will visit its handicraft market full of colors and customs, we will be able to see its inhabitants dressed in traditional costumes, we will enjoy a guided tour of the archaeological site of Pisac discovering its terraces, aqueducts, roads associated with walls and gates, channeled waterways and cemeteries.

We will have a buffet lunch to recharge our batteries and continue our journey to Ollantaytambo we can walk through the narrow streets and admire its fortress built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley. On the way back to Cusco we will visit the picturesque village of Chinchero, where the remains of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui are located. You will admire its well-preserved Inca Wall in the main square and visit a factory where you will be explained the elaboration of the textiles and weavings of the area. Transfer to your selected accommodation in the city of Cusco.

DAY 03: Machupicchu Tour

Early in the morning we go to Ollanta station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, the tour is full of beautiful scenery and you can enjoy an incredible diversity of flora.

Arriving in Aguas Calientes agency staff will be waiting for you with a sign with your name and accompany you to the bus station, we will board the buses that will take us to Machupicchu, this tour lasts about 25 minutes upon arrival we will have a guided tour of the citadel of Machupicchu where we can admire the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar clock, the temple of the Three Windows among other enclosures. At the indicated time we will enjoy a buffet lunch and then we will go to the train station to return to Ollantaytambo.
