Uros - Taquile Tour

Itinerary

We will pick you up early in the morning to go to the port where we will depart to the Floating Islands of the Uros, where you can meet the local community and learn about their fascinating lifestyle in the middle of the highest lake in the world. You will be able to explore these artificial islands made of totora, an aquatic plant of great importance for the Uros culture, used as raw material for the construction of the islands, houses, as food and as fuel for cooking.

Afterwards, we head to the magical island of Taquile, where you will have the opportunity to explore a community of friendly and charming people who have maintained their ancestral traditions and customs for generations. We will enjoy a delicious lunch to recharge our batteries and continue our tour of the island that offers breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and the majesty of Lake Titicaca, as well as weaving workshops and delicious local dishes to taste.
